Energy, The Environment & Power Distribution

Here at Serious Engineering we take our environmental responsibilities very seriously. As a supplier who provides peripheral equipment to companies who produce and distribute power from many different processes, we endeavour to follow our work processes through conscientiously and leave a minimal carbon footprint.

Our expertise supports many different industries, including: Oil and Gas, Petrochemical, Offshore, Wind Energy, Wave and Tidal Power Generation, Hydroelectric, Nuclear and Solar Power as well as traditional networks in control and power distribution.

All of these renewable and traditional energy generation and distribution routes require the support of primary and secondary fabrications and peripheral parts in order to function in a way that contributes to the ethos behind ISO 14001 (Environmental Sustainability)

We are accredited to ISO 14001 which highlights our commitment to our environmental responsibilities. All of our in house processes are audited and tested to conform to these requirements.

We can supply fabrications and metalwork to all of the above industries and can conform to all the certifications that may be requested. We can supply subsea & surface fabrications for support of wind turbine arrays, wave generation stations, nuclear power plants, oil and gas platforms and any part of the supporting or secondary sheet metal or fabricated equipment required (Hand rails, guards, enclosures, stairs, support frames, ROV and HPU frames) etc.

All of the above can be manufactured to the highest standard from steel, stainless steel or aluminium, and supplied with material certification and traceability (3.1 or 3.2), with weld procedures, together with surface protective coatings i.e. offshore surface preparation and paint specifications such as Norsok M-501
