A step back in time with Serious

Texas oil well pumper in black and white with room for your type.

These days everyone talks about the future, however every once in a while we like to look back on the past.

At Serious Engineering we can trace our history right back to 1772, when George Haden was Foreman of the machine shop where James Watt perfected his first steam engine.

Haden’s sons, George and James, were both apprentices to James Watt and eventually started their own company – through Haden Building Management, Balfour Beatty, Romec Enterprise Ltd and now Serious Engineering; this historic pedigree informs everything we stand for today. Serious Engineering now continues this established reputation, supported by our solid ownership structure.

The result of such an auspicious heritage and pedigree is that Serious Engineering’s starting stance is absolute reliability.

Our firm desire to grow beyond the expectations of the industry is what sets us apart, decade after decade.
